و إِنَّـهٌ في ظُلْمِـهِ عَنِيْـدُ(3)
عَثَا فَسَاداً ظُلْمَـهُ و فِسْقَهُ(5)
ثُمَّ ثَمَانٍ مَعَهَا مُبَيَّنَهْ(6)​

وكانَ بَعْـدَهُ ابنُـهُ يَزِيْـدُ
تَمَّ ثَلاثَ سَنَوَاتٍ مُلْكَـهُ(4)
مَاتَ وعَمْرُهُ ثَلاثُونَ سَنَهْ

(1) He is Yazid ibn Abi Sufyan Sakhr ibn Harb son Umayya ibn Abd Shams bin Abd Manaf ibn Qusai bin Kilab. Commonly known as Yazid I,

(2) It was Fallen from the publication the date of the beginning and end of his regime but proved to be 60-64 A.H.

Yazid was the Caliph as appointed by his father Muawiyah I in Rajab in the year 60 A.H. (The Completed History 3/377) . He died in the  15th   of Rabi ul-Awwal, 64 AH  (The Completed History 3/464 ) (aged 36)

(4) He ruled for three years and six months from 680 CE until his death in 683 CE.

(5) Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned (briefly ): People parted in Yazid ibn Abi Sufyan into 3 parties , one of the  parties said that Yazid  was infidel and  hypocrite because he has sought to kill the grandson of our prophet  peace be upon him  as gratification and revenge of the Messenger of Allah for the killing of his grandfather Outba and Outba brother Shaibah and his unkle AlWalid Bin Outbah and a lot more who were killed by Ali Bin Abi Talib may Allah be pleased with him in Bader battle . They said: its Badr hatred and -Jaahiliyyah effects-and this is an easy say for The Rafidites who are accusing Abu Baker, Umar and Othman by infidelity.

The second party thought he was a good man and a fair imam and he was born in the time of our prophet who carried and blessed him, some preferred him upon Abu Baker and Umar ,and other considered him a prophet and they say about Sheikh Oday, or the assassinated  Hassan - Lied to him-that seventy (Waliy) Legal guardian were turned their face of the Qiblah -The direction that Muslims face when they do their salaah for- gathering to Yazid which is also the saying for the majority of Al-Adaweiah ,Al Kurds and others.  

ALSheikh Oday was from Omayyad, he was a righteous worshiper and a virtuous man. It was not noted about him that he invited or supplicate to ALSunnah as others say as Sheikh Abu AlFaraj AlMaqdesi as they share the same conviction with the addition to AlSunnah which is considered Lies and delusion as Hadith Mawdu - refers to a report in whose chain one of the following defects is discovered-and the extravagance of ALShiekh Oday , Yazid and the blood of The Rafidites when said repentance from them will not be accepted and others .

Both views are apparently void for any person with brain and cannot refer it to Sunnah Scholars with an opinion and a clear mind. (The third saying ) , that he was a king of Muslim rulers, he has advantages and disadvantages, he was not born until the caliphate of Uthman , he was not infidel but because of him AlHussain was killed and what happened in AlHurrah people also. He was not a companion or  from pious worshippers of Allah .This saying for  people of reason and science for AlSunnh and the community. Then separated into (three teams) team loved him and a team cursed him and the third not loved nor cursed .and this is what known about Al-Imam Ahmed and others from the rest of Muslims.

The concept of leaving out the cursing, is essential and that is because his immorality was not proven. And liking him is not favored due to many reasons first of it , that no good deeds was issued from him which requires liking him and the second  he had actions that proved his injustice and  debauch adding to this the assassination on Al-Hussain and AlHarrah .
