هَارُوْنُ في تَدْبِيْرِهِ رَشِيْدُ
وَقَمَعَ الشِّرْكَ أَمَاتَ البِدْعَهْ (3)

ثُمَّ حَضَارَةٌ إِلى أَعْلَى الرُّتَبْ
وَسِتَّةُ الشُّهُوْرِ أَوْفَتْ حَسَنَهْ (4)

قَدْ عَاشَ فِيْهَا في نَعِيْمٍ حُكْمُهُ

فَوَلِيَ الخِلاَفَةَ الرَّشِيْدُ
قَدْ نَاصَرَ العِلْمَ وَ أَحْيَاْ السُّنَّهْ وَعَهْدُهُ فَعَهْدُ عِلْـمٍ وَأَدَبْ
بَقِيْ ثَلاَثَاً ثمَّ عِشْرِيْنَ سَنَهْ

(وَأَرْبَعٌ وَأَرْبَعُوْنَ سِنُّهُ (5

Obv.

         There is no diety except 
         (the one) God alone 
         He has no equal

(1) He is Ar Rashid Harun, Abli Jaa'far-b-u'l Mahdi Muhammad-b-il Mansur

A'bdi'llah-b-Muhammad-b-A'Ii-b-A'bdi'llah-b-i'l A'bbas.

(2) He succeeded as Caliph by the covenant of his father on the death of his brother al Hadi on Friday night the 16th  Rabii' I, in the year 170a.h (The completed History 5/277 ) (ALbedaia w alnehaia 10/160)

He died on Khorasan in a village called Noukan (SANABAZ ) which is one of Tous villages in  Saturday the 3rd of Jumada II, in the year  193a.h (The completed History 5/352 ) (ALbedaia w alnehaia 10/213) . There was a strange story about his death as narrated Ibn Kathir (10 / 213,221) It is said that ar Rashid while he was in Al-Kufa had a dream, and when he was awake he told Gabriel the son of Bakhtishuu’ about it. He said that he saw a palm carrying a red soil came out from under his bed saying to him: This is the soil of Harun grave!!. Harun was horrified while telling his dream to Gabriel who calmed him down telling him that it is just a dream and he has to forget it.   

Later when he was marching to Khorasan he became sick and remembered his dream and reminded his doctor Gabriel of it .Then he asked his servant to bring him a little from the soil of the land he was near –Tous – when he saw it he remembered the hand in his dream with the red color soil, Gabriel the son of Bakhtishuu’ told that it was few days before he died. And said also that Al-Rashid was leading the prayers as Imam at Tous, and he wept, and said " dig me a grave;" in the house he was living in which is the house of Humaid bin Abi Ghanem al-Taie -and one was dug for him, he was borne in a covered litter upon a camel, and it was driven along until he beheld the grave, and he said, " O son of man, thou art about to come to this." then he gave orders to a party who set him down, and they read over him the entire Quran while he was in the litter on the edge of the grave. They said when he was dying he prayed to God saying: Oh Allah benift us with the allodium, and Forgive us the offense, oh Allah who does not die give mercy to who dies. 

Harun sickness was in the blood and said he was ill with pulmonary tuberculosis

إني بطـوسٍ مقيمُ               مالي بها من حميمُ

أرجـو إلهـي لما بي                فـإنـــه بـي رحيــم

لقد أتى بيَ طوساً             قـضــاؤه المـحـتـومُ

وليـس إلا رضائـي            والصـبـرُ والتسليـمُ

(3) This is what was reported by Ibn Kathier when he said: some said, I entered on Al-Rashid and in front of him a killed man with a cut head and the swordsman is wiping his sword with the back of the slain.Al-Rashid said: I killed him because he claimed that the Holy Quran is created and so he was killed to draw closer to Allah. Some scholars said to him: will you host well within your authority and generosity the people who liked Abu Baker and Umar Rasheed said:” Is not i am doing the same? Me wa Allah love them both and like who loves them too and I do punch who hate and insult them “.knowing that Al-Rashid virtues’ lot to be mentioned in these pages.

We have mentioned a good example of Harun Al-Rashid amenities that many imams stated before as Al-Fuḍayl ibn ‘Iyāḍ used to say: Not the death of anyone is a most cherished to us from the death of Al-Rasheed ,as the accidents that might happen beneath, and I am praying to Allah to make his age more than me They said that when Al-Rashid died tribulations, accidents and differences appeared in the Islamic world. Also the say in the creation of Quran has appeared among Muslims. For this we realized why Al-Fuḍayl ibn ‘Iyāḍ was afraid of the death of Al-Rashid.(ALbedaian w alnehaia 10/215-221) (The completed history 5/358).

(4) Al-Rashid reigns lasted for Twenty-three years, eight months and eleven days some said three months. .(ALbedaian w alnehaia 10/213) (The completed history 5/354).

Al-Fuḍayl ibn ‘Iyāḍ ibn Bishr ibn Masūd Abū ‘Alī at-Tamīmī al-Yarbū‘ī al-Khurāsānī, was also known as Abu Ali and as al-Talaqani) a Muslim ascetic.  He Narrated Al-A’amash , Mansoor ,Jafar AlSadeq and Hamid  ALTawil Suleiman Taymi and Yahya Al-Ansari. And narrated from him Al- Shafei ,alsufianan ,Ibn Mubarak,yehia AlQatan ,bishr Al-Hafi and alSiri AlSorqoti . Ibn Saad said : he was amongst the Rijaal of all major hadith works and they are unanimously agreed upon to be "THIQA , praiseworthy ,noble and worshipper .he died in Mecca in the year 187a.h.  (Tabakat al-huffaz 110 )
