AR RADHI-BI'LLA'H

322-329 (2)

وَهْوَ أَدِيْبٌ وَ عَلِـُّي الهِمَّـــــةِ
وَعُمْرُهُ إِحْدَىْ ثَلاثِـينَ أَتمّ
قَدْ فَاْرَقَ الحَيَاةَ مَيْتَاً بَعْدَهَـاْ(5)

وَاسْتَحْصَلَ الرَّاضِيْ عَلَىْ الخِلافَةِ
سَبْعَ سِنِينَ دُوْنَ شَهْرَيْنِ حَكَمْ(3)
وَ سِتَّةٌ مِنَ الشُّهُـوْرِ مَعَهَـــــاْ(4)

Obv.

There is no diety except
(the one) God alone
He has no equal

Marginal Legend:

-In The Name of God. This dirham was struck in Busra in two and twenty and three hundred.

-To God is the will before and after and on that day the believers shall rejoice in God's victory

Marginal Legend:

Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it.

(1) He is Abu Abbas Ahmad ibn Jaafar al-Muqtadir bin Ahmed bin Mu'tadid alMuwafaq Talha bin Jaafar bin Mohammed al- Mutawakkil alMutassim bin Harun arRashid bin Mohammed alMehdi Bin alMansour Abbasi.

(2) He received the oath of allegiance on the day of the deposition of al-Kahir in Wednesday the 6th of Jumada I in

the year 322 a.h(albedaia w alnehaia 11/178) (the completed history 6/98).And he died in the middle of Rabii II, 329 a.h (albedaiaw alnehaia 11/196) (the completed history 7/151).

(4) His age when died was thirty one years and eleven months (albedaia w alnehaia 11/196). Some said thirty two years and few months (the completed history 7/151)

(5) The cause of his death some said the dropsy –Edema – (albedaia w alnehaia)
