وَغَيرُهُ اُخْتُصَّ بِهَا بِالإِمْرَةِ(4)
سِتُّوْنَ وَاثْنَتَانِ ظَلَّ عُمْرُهُ(6)
فَالمُتَّقِيْ (1) بُوْيِـعَ بِالخِلافَـةِ
خمْسٌ مِنَ السٍّنِينَ دَامَ حُكْمُهُ(5)

Marginal Legend:
Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it.
(1) In the printed publication –ALMuktafi – which is a distortion of facts, as ALMuktafi was acknowledged caliph in the period between 530 till 555 as it will come later in the book.
(2) He is I Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin Jaafar bin Ahmed Al-Muqtadir Mu'tadid Bin Talha ALMuwafaq bin Jaafar bin Mohammed al-Mutawakkil Mu'tasim Ibn Harun arRashid bin Mohammed alMehdi binn Mansour alAbbasi.
(3) He was acknowledged Caliph on the death of his brother ar Radhi, in the 20th of Rabii I in the year 329a.h (albedaia w alnehaia 11/198)(the completed history 6/152).He was disposed and blinded in the 20th of Safar, 333 a.h (albedaia w alnehaia 11/196) (the completed history 7/186) .He died in the 15th of Sha’aban in the year 357 a.h (albedaia w alnehaia 11/256) (the completed history 7/307).
(4) Ibn Kathir said : When his brother ALRadhi died and did not appoint his successor , the judges and the prominent leaders gathered in Bajkam house and all agreed to appoint him as caliph ,then they brought him to the Succession House(Bait alkhilapha ) to give him the oath of allegiance ,he asked first to pray the Prayer for Guidance on the ground ,and when he finished he sat on the chair and people gave him the pledge of loyalty. He never made any changes in his establishment and never betrayed any one. He used to fast and pray much, and he never drank wine. He used to say, " I need no boon companion but the Quran."(Albedaia w alnehaia 11/198).
(5) The duration of his reign last for three years, five months and twenty days.”(Albedaia w alnehaia 11/210).(the completed history 7/151).
(6) He was disposed, imprisoned and remained in prison twenty-five years and he died in his home in the middle of Shaa'bdn 357a.h.”(Albedaia w alnehaia 11/256).(the completed history 7/307)
