وَهْوَ صَغِيرُ السِّنِّ لَكِنْ قَدُرَ(3)

مَا كَانَ حُكْمُهُ أَخَاْ اِسْتِقْرَارِ(4)

فَوْقَ الثَّلاثِينَ ثمَـــــــــانٍ عُمْـرُهُ(6)

ثمَّ وَليْ الخِلافَـةِ المُقْتَــــدِرَ

لَكِنَّهُ لِكَثْرَةِ الأَشْـرَارِ

عِشْرُوْنَ ثمَّ أَرْبَعٌ ذَاْ حُكْمُــهُ(5)

-In The Name of God. This dirham was struck in Eygpt in the year seven and three hundred.

al-Muqtadir Bi-Allah

Marginal Legend:

Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it.

1) He is Abu El Fadl Jaafar bin Ahmad bin Talha Mu'tadid Al-Muwafaq Bin Jaafar bin Mohammed al-Mutawakkil Mutassim bin Harun al-Rashid bin Mohammad Mehdi Ben Mansour Abbasi.

(2) He was acknowledged as Caliph after the death of his brother Sunday 16th of Dul AlQa’da 295 a.h (albedaia w alnehaia 11/169,105) (The completd history 6/437) and was killed in the 28th of Shawal ,320 a.h. (albedaia w alnehaia 11/105) (the completd history 6/437).

(3) When the illness of al Muktafi became serious, he enquired about him, and on being assured that he had reached the age of puberty, he made him his heir. ,this was in Friday the 11th of Dul AlQa’eda as he brought the judges witnessing them on assigning Abu AlFadl after him and nicknamed him al-Muqtadir Bi-Allah.

Al-Muktafi died after three days, and then the Oath of allegiance was renewed to al-Muqtadir Bi-Allah. He was thirteen years old when he assumed power as none ever governed the Caliphate at an earlier age than him.

(4) His succession lasted for twenty four years, eleven months fourteen days (albedaia w alnehaia 11/169)(the completed history 7/75 ) .

(5) Due to his young age the- jund – Army sought to depose him in Rabii Al-Awal 296a.h and a party conspired with him to place A'bdu'llah the son of al Mua'tazz upon the throne but this did not happened, and this conspiracy was invalidated in the second day. Then they deposed him in Muharam in the year 307a.h. The allegiance was sworn to his brother Muhammad ALQahir, as this also lasted for two days only. Then Al-Muktafi assumed the caliphate.
