خُلُقُهُ النَّخْوَةُ ثمَّ الكَـرَمُ
قَضَى عَلَيْهَا حَزْمُهُ وَ جِدُّهُ
وَتِسْعَةٌ وَ أَرْبَعُونَ عُمْرُهُ(4)
وَقَدْ تَوَلى بَعْـدَهُ المُعْتَصِـمُ
لِقِيْ ثَوْرَاتً جِسَاماً عَهْدُهُ
تِسْعَاً مِنَ السِّنِينَ دَامَ عَهْـدُه ُ(3)

- In The Name of God. This dirham was struck in Egypt in the year nineteen and two hundred. (219)

Marginal Legend:
Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it.
(1) He is Al Mua'tasim Billah, Abu Ishak Muhammad bin Harun ALRashid bin Muhammad Al-Mahdi bin Mansur.
(2) He was acknowledged as Caliph in succession to Al-Mamun when he was killed in Tarsus in the 12th of Rajab in the year 218.(ALbedaia w alnehaia 10/280) (The completed History 6/13). He died in Thursday the 18th of Rabei AlAwal in the year 227 a.h .(ALbedaia w alnehaia 10/295) (The completed History 6/70).
(3) His succession lasted for eight years, eight months and eight days. (ALbedaia w alnehaia 10/295) (The completed History 6/70).
(4) His age when died was forty eight years. (ALbedaia w alnehaia 10/295) and said forty seven years old (The completed History 6/70).
