وَهْوَ كَرِيمٌ طَيِّبُ الدِّيَانَـةِ(3)
بَقَىْ ثمَانٍ وَثَلاثِينَ سَنَهْ(5)

فَالمُقْتَدِيْ بُوْيِعَ بِالخِلافَـةِ

وَعَهْدُهُ فَتِسْعُ عَشْرَةَ سَنَهْ(4)

Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it.

(1) He is Abu al-Qasim Edat-Din Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Kaim bi Amir Allah bin Ahmid bin Jaafar Al-Muqtadir bin Ahmid Al-Mua’tadid bin Talha Al-Muwafaq bin Jaafar Al-Mutawakil bin Muhammad Al-Mua’tasim ibn Harun ArRashid bin Muhammad Al-mahdi bin Al-Mansur Al-Abbasi .

(2) He was acknowledged Caliph on his grandfather's Al-Kaim Bi Allah death ,in Friday the 13th of Saha’ban 467a.h (albedaia w alnehaia 12/111)(the completed history 8/406),and died in Friday the 14th of Muharam ,487a.h (albedaia w alnehaia 12/146)(the completed history 8/493).

(3) Ibn Kathir stated that, during his reign many good works and excellent deeds were done in the provinces, and the ordinances of the Caliphate. During his days were noble and honorable in contradistinction to those of his predecessors. Among his good deeds, he proscribed female singers and evil doers in Baghdad, and ordered that no one should enter the baths without drawers, and he destroyed the towers of the baths with a view to securing public decorum. He was pious, virtuous, firm of purpose, magnanimous and one of the noblest of the

House of A'bbas. In this year of the Caliphate the khutbah was restored in Mecca in the name of the House of U'bayd. During the same, Nidham n'l Mulk assembled the astronomers and they made the New Year's day the first point of the sun's entry into Aries, and before this, it was held at the meridian of his passage through Pisces, and this act of al Nidham was the origin of the reformation of the Calendar. He nominated Ibn Al-Juhair then Abu Shujda' to the office of Wazir, then he returned Ibn Al-Juhair and his judge Al-damgana, then Abu Bakr al-Shaashi to the courts thanks to Allah (albedaia w alnehaia 12/111)(The completed history 8/494 ) . Adding to the previous many extra virtues (The completed history 8/494 ). I said: he was acknowledged

Caliph in Friday and died in Friday the best days of Allah.

(4) The duration of his reign lasted for nineteen years, eight months but two days (albedaia w alnehaia 12/146) )(The completed history 8/406 ).

(5) His age when died thirty eight months and nine days.
